East Meon Vineyard lies in a close known since ancient times as the Berrygarden, which gives its name to the vintage sparkling wine that is made from the grapes.that are grown there. These, 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, are cultivated and selected with great care. They are picked on a single day, pressed together and co-fermented. Each vintage is thus a celebration of the season and the terroir of the vineyard. After fermentation and conditioning, usually in oak barrels, the wine is bottled and undergoes its second fermentation and further conditioning for many months before disgorgement.
